Canvasola is built to provide a visual thinking workspace. This page describes the privacy approach for the public website and application.
Information Canvasola processes
The public marketing pages do not require an account. If you choose to create an account or save a project through the application, Canvasola processes the information needed to provide that account and project functionality, such as an email address, account session information, and the project data you choose to save.
How information is used
Information is used to operate the app, authenticate accounts, preserve saved projects, protect the service, and respond to legitimate support or security needs. Canvasola does not sell personal information.
Local and offline work
Canvasola is designed as an offline-first web app. Work that stays on your device is not automatically transmitted simply because you use the canvas. Account-backed saving is a separate app function.
Security and retention
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect service data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Account and project data are retained while needed to provide the service or meet legal and security obligations.
Your choices
You may choose not to create an account, avoid storing sensitive information in a mind map, and request account-related assistance through the product’s available support channel. This policy should be reviewed and completed with the business’s final contact and jurisdiction details before a public production launch.
